David Meriney

David Meriney is a former Sweet Music Academy student who began playing the drums from an early age and has continued to perform across the east coast with the Black Ties band and other local groups in the jersey shore scene. He is currently studying music at Mercer County Community College and is trained in many drumming styles and genres. His experiences include jazz combos, rock bands, orchestral percussion, drum corps, and musical pit ensembles, giving him a multifaceted approach to the instrument and musical instruction.
