JJ Sanchez is a multi-instrumentalist, audio-engineer, and producer with a passion for learning and a love for teaching and collaborating with others. JJ has been studying voice since the age of 12 with their coach and mentor Chris Pinnella, a local artist known for his time touring with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They later went on to graduate Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor’s in Music Production and Engineering. There, they studied advanced vocal techniques with award winning vocalist and composer Didi Stewart. At the same time they also studied Marimba with Gustavo Agatiello, a fellow Berklee graduate.
Outside of teaching, JJ is a freelance audio-engineer, working both live events and studio sessions. They work closely with Moon Motel LLC, a local production company, to run sound, record, and produce local artists and bands. They also sing and play bass in two bands, soon to make their debuts in the NJ DIY music scene.
