Nels Andersen

Nels Andersen is an experienced teacher and performer whose professional and teaching career has spanned decades. Anderson has studied classical guitar with virtuoso Dr. Andrew Restivo and famed American jazz guitarist Tal Farlow. Nels has performed in Carnegie Hall as the guitar/mandolist for top charting actress and vocalist American female Connie Francis. His original music has been featured on The History Channel and MSNBC. In addition to guitar, Nels plays and teaches a variety of instruments, including bass, mandolin, banjo, piano, violin (folk fiddling), trumpet, trombone, saxophone, flute, clarinet, recorder, and even harmonica! Nels has an incredible spirit and desire for teaching and modifies his approach to each student and their interests.
