About Jazz Band
Jazz is one of America’s most innovative and challenging styles of music. Classes will include training in jazz repertoire, harmony, rhythm, improvisation, and history. Most importantly, participants will play together in a small ensemble with the guidance of a professional instructor. The ensemble is open to all instruments and vocalists. All students must possess a certain degree of proficiency in their instruments and will be asked to audition in person. Student placement will be based on proficiency, experience, and age.
